Wendy brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role as a current Governing Board Member for the Acalanes Union High School District (AUHSD), making her an outstanding candidate for continued service. With a proven track record in educational leadership, Wendy has consistently demonstrated her commitment to enhancing student success and community engagement.
Wendy's extensive background in guiding college and career readiness, supporting athletic programs, and advocating for equity through Title IX efforts uniquely positions her to continue driving positive change within the district.
Wendy's deep-rooted connection to the community and her hands-on experience in addressing both academic and extracurricular needs make her the ideal candidate to continue serving and advancing the goals of AUHSD.

Wendy is a long-time Lafayette resident whose children have attended The Orinda Preschool (TOPS), Happy Valley Elementary, Stanley Middle School, and Campolindo High School. She is proud to have two Campolindo graduates and a current senior at the school. As a board member, one of her greatest honors was presenting diplomas to graduating seniors at both ACIS and Campolindo High School last May. Wendy holds a bachelor's degree in history from UCLA.
CURRENT ROLES:

Governing Board Member, AUHSD (2023-present) - Wendy helps shape district policies, ensure fiscal responsibility, and advocate for students, staff, and the community. She collaborates with board members to improve academic outcomes and promote equity, engaging with stakeholders to address key district issues.

AUHSD Coordinating Council (2022-present) - Wendy serves as a liaison between district leadership, school administrators, and community members, facilitating collaboration and ensuring that district-wide initiatives align with individual school needs.

Parliamentarian, Campolindo Parents Club (2023-present) - As Parliamentarian, Wendy ensures meetings are run according to parliamentary rules, advises the board on governance procedures, and supports the smooth operation of the Parents Club.

College and Career Advisor (2021-present) - Wendy guides high school students grades 9-12 through the college planning and application process, scholarships, and career pathways. She helps students of all abilities set goals and prepare for post-secondary education or career opportunities.

President, Campolindo Parents Club (2022-2024) - Wendy led the Campolindo Parents Club, coordinating fundraising, supporting student programs, and fostering a strong partnership between parents, students, and school administration to benefit the school community.

Board Member, Moraga Education Foundation (MEF) (2022-2024) - Wendy helped raise and allocate funds to support local schools, enhancing classroom resources, technology, and enrichment programs. She was actively involved in outreach and advocacy to improve public education.

Board Member, Campolindo Athletic Boosters (2022-2023) - As a Board Member, Wendy supported athletic programs by coordinating fundraising efforts to improve sports teams and facilities. She also played a key role in advocating for Title IX compliance, ensuring equitable access and resources for both boys' and girls' athletic programs, benefiting all student athletes.
